The Basin is one of the most beautiful spots on the Island. Perfect for a cooling dip or for a snorkel, or just lie on the beach and relax

Nice place for a swim although beach area is not big so could get busy in peak times - and could be hard to get space on the sand. Worth a swim great for young kids.

AMAZING!!!! It is absolutely stunning. You can just sit on one of the picnic benches eating lunch, with quokka's around you while the waves roll in. I went in winter and I would still recommend.

People were enjoying the beach, while others were walking. However, the Basin is unique. The color of the ocean is light blue. It is peaceful and nothing can disturb us while swimming. It was cool! It was perfectly calm.
