Join in as part of a guided tour by Rockingham Wild Encounters and one would be rewarded by detailed information of these islands and their importance as a natural habitat for the dolphins, sea lions and the birds frequenting them.

The whole area is effectively the marine park. Some fantastic conservation with Penguin Island as well as all the wildlife on the mainland. Great photo opportunities as well.

I made several cycle rides along this coast and the scenery was fabulous. I saw flocks of pelicans, numerous others sea birds and even a little eagle. Good cycle paths and also a protected area along the road.

The marine park has stunning azure coloured water and is popular with windsurfers and kite surfers. There’s great scenery to look at (ocean and islands off the coast) however not really the best beaches here for sunbathing or swimming.

We’re lucky enough to live a few hundred meters from here. The marine park encompasses Penguin Island, Seal Island and other bays and beaches. A boat trip to penguin island is very worth while and you can also bolt on a seal island trip. Although...More

Hi, You can walk around the Island without paying, if you get to the island yourself. The cost is for the ferry and attractions on the island. Nice places for picnics too.

Yes, the island requires a small boat trip, and also gives you entry to penguin show.
