We were looking for a dog-friendly beach near town and were recommended Lights Beach. It did not disappoint. Close to Ocean Beach, easy access by car, plenty of parking. Most important however, the dog enjoyed herself!

Locals call it the nudie beach tho' I never saw anybody o'natural. A lovely sandy beach for sunbathing no matter which way the breeze is coming as there is always one area which is more sheltered. Not ideal for swimming due to the ocean waves,...More

It was a perfect beach for all! Dogs allowed! Little rock pools made it great for families. Waves out deep enticed surfers and the rocky outcrops picturesque and the walk was well sign posted. Great beach.

A beautiful wide expanse of sea & beach with a lookout beside the road It's delightful. Although we didn't go down to this beach there looked to be a lot going on.

This is a favourite morning beach walk location or hike between Lights Beach and Ocean Beach when I visit Denmark. Delighted this morning to see whales out to sea going by on their annual migration. Joyous.

We went in Winter,so it was a bit cold for a swim, but in saying that it was a pleasant walk down to it,and there is still lots to look at and take in the fresh air, will be great in the Summer.
