11 of us went on this fabulous day out. ranging from 3 year old to 55. Great weather thoroughly enjoyed. Spent 2 hours in Maldon for lunch wish it was longer.

The Castlemaine to Maldon Trail is named as such. It is NOT a rail trail as some may think. It deviates from the rail line significantly for long sections. Navigating on the trail itself was somewhat helped by the markers but there is nowhere near...More

Great track from Maldon to Muckleford along the railway line. Plenty of spots to get some good train photos

We loved the trail. Easy to navigate and we had the fun of racing the steam train - people waving from the rolling locomotive. The terrain varied which is something we enjoyed. We had lunch in Maldon. What a great day!
