Since the fishermen bring in their dead catches here, it definitely smells bad by the street but the beach is fine. There's a churro guy right there on the street too, and they're delicious 👌

Try the shrimp empanada at the fisherman's fair. Excellent! They are freshly fried and if accompanied by the Estrella beer, there is no mistake.

No seaweed, not too much trash and plenty of space. The sand is soft and white. The current was a bit strong so I'd try it out before you let your kids run wild. It's a 10-15 minute walk from the ruins.

There is nothing special about the beach itself....it's decent but can be very crowded at peak season. There are a lot of good nearby options for food and drinks...i.e. caipirinhas... and watching the vacationing masses. A short walk can take you to quieter beaches with...More
