The white wines of upstate New York have been excellent for a couple of decades now, especially their French/German/Austrian varietals. I highly recommend a long weekend up in this region if you love Gewurztraminer or Rieslings.

You could, but that may get really expensive. If you're worried abt drinking & driving, you may want to look into a wine bus/limo package.
