We walked to the Bay by road which was a good 30 minute walk, we initially planned to take the ferry to Riva, Thirassia for the day, but changed our minds and had lunch at one of the restaurants situated in the bay. The views...More

This area is hard to find but once you are there, you will be glad you kept looking! The water is SO blue and the views are amazing!! There are a few restaurants there where you can have a bite and a glass of wine...More

We think this was the best place to visit in Santorini. I belief all restaurants are great over there, we had lunch in one and it was great. It’s a small bay and very beautiful. Also around the corner you can go cliff jumping. I...More

Its a long walk down the stairs however it is worthwhile to do this to get a view of the beautiful Santorini sunset. Also make sure you book early for the retsuarants.

Beautiful views of the water and sunset. The hike down was fun (some people ride a donkey instead), or you could drive down the other side of the valley. Definitely worth checking out!

This spot is as recommended and we’re so pleased we went there but wish we had more time to stay longer. The water is so clean, around the bay, rocks to dive from into to sea and a choice of 5 fish tavernas to dine...More

Amoudi bay is a favourite of my children and the water is lovely to swim in. People with limited mobility might have a hard time as the pathway is rocky. There is a small platform and one can find spaces on the rocks to sit....More

Walked down here from Oia and it was an amazing little bay. Just be careful of the donkey poo and slippy steps! 230 steps worth! The colour of the sea is amazing as well :)

It's a hike on the rocks but so worth it. Go swimming, eat fresh fish, enjoy the culture :) You can spend as little as 1 hour here or as long as half a day. We came via ATV and then hiked down/around the cove.

Yes, I would. Ask your hotel to reserve a nice table they are more than happy too. They can also reserve a taxi to there and before you leave ask the restaurant manager to call you a taxi back. It’s quite dark after sunset.

We found the whole of Oia to feel extremely safe - including the steps. We were staying above Amoudi Bay and the steps were always well used by lots of people. We walked up and down - there are a lot of steps though - but as... More

Our taxi came 5-10 minutes after they made the call. The ride back up to Oia was really short, at most 5-10 minutes. There isn’t a lot of parking spaces at the bay... so driving may not be such a good idea. Perhaps you could... More
