On the road to Berbera from Hargeisa, we turned off on a dirt road and a few minutes later we were at Las Geel. We climbed over rocks and into small caverns. The petroglyph cave paintings were spectacular.

I loved this site. The rock paintings are remarkably well preserved and there's a great number of them in each cave to admire. A great half-day excursion from the city

The cave paintings here are incredibly well preserved and interesting. There is also an informative interpretive center. Views of the surrounding area from the top of the rock are also quite stunning.
