Let’s just say I take my family out a lot and this was the worst experience ever! The manager/ owner whatever she wants to call herself needs a reality check! She has zero respect for customers. I don’t know what world she is living in but there are plenty of other farms out there with better quality, customer service, and prices. With her nasty attitude she might as well close that farm because anyone who has to interact with her, will never go back! And I guarantee you that!
A good farm you can go to is Prospect Hill Orchards! So many options out there, don’t waste your money on a farm that doesn’t appreciate customers!
I would never go back there and that is the last place I’d recommend to anyone. First they make you pay $10 to get in per person, then the prices are RIDICULOUS! The quality is absolutely trash!

Hi,
We are sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your experience at the farm and we appreciate your feedback.
We often find that customers who blatantly ignore and disregard our rules have a difficult experience. We try to be as clear as possible with our process and have multiple signs posted throughout the farm that whatever you pick you are responsible to pay for. Upon entrance to the farm you are given a copy of our rules which you agreed to when you entered.
Our management staff endeavored to find an amicable solution with you on Sunday and you refused each of the suggestions. Once you refused each solution it became clear to us that your only goal was to come in, destroy property and then refuse to pay. We are happy to hear you will not be back and we hope before you patronize other local farms that you’ll evaluate your own consumer behavior.

Before you go to Lawrence farms you should know that you will be charged $5 per person including children over the age of 2 and if you happen to want to use one of their wagons to carry back all the fruit that you buy, they charge you $10 for that. So for the privilege of buying macintosh apples at $2.49 a pound Instead of $1.99 at Shoprite, it will cost $30 before you get to the checkout to pay for the fruit that you picked.. I spoke to Jennifer, who said that she was the owner, And she said that she had her reasons ,but would not discuss it. I truly hope somebody sees this and decides not to go and posts on the Web page so that Jennifer knows she's losing business. I certainly will never go there again and I will speak to the school board to make sure we never have another Is class trip at Lawrence farms. Shame on you. If you weren't trying to hide it you would put it on your homepage.

This was my first trip here and it was the best time, I came by myself and enjoyed it. I could have spent the entire day, I arrived around 2pm and left around 5. The $5 weekend charge per car was not bad as there is so much staff to assist from start to finish. The variety is so good for fruits and vegetables. I got some free plastic bags from the staff and I picked a variety of apples that cost me under $12. There is a pond, picnic area, goats, chickens, store with honey etc. tasty donuts, pumpkin pie and food if you are hungry, this place is large so even if you see a lot of cars in the queue it’s because they are paying to enter and going to park, there is allot of parking spaces and once you do the farm is so huge you always have allot of space to yourself without feeling its crowded. My favorite part was walking through the orchard and the variety of apples here, I absolutely loved it and will return here. Nice tractor ride too for kids and pumpkin patch. The views of the valley is spectacular with the fall foliage.

This farm was an awesome day trip! We came up from the city and had a blast, the farm had tons of fresh sweet cherries and lots of other produce. The staff was extremely kind from the kids in the parking lot to the girls in the small market. The prices were thoroughly explained since it is very hard to keep a small local business going! We will definitely be coming back to this farm on many occasions!

I agree with the poor reviews for Lawrence Farms. My family and I used to go yearly during the fall for apple picking, but haven't returned in a good long while due to the poor customer service and the limited availability of the produce advertised. The per person fee is exorbitant, regardless of the time of year. My family of 6 paid and entered to find out that there were hardly any fruit left. I was surprised they still charged knowing this.

I feel disturbed reading some of the negative comments that people have voiced.
Lawrence Farms is a fantastic place. It is abundant and beautiful. You can feel the love and care projected into this place. The quality of the produce is top. The location is just beautiful! What a wonderful gift this place is to the community. I hope to see it thrive and grow. I am considering purchasing a seasonal pass for $20, which offers a discount on all produce and unlimited visits. Thank you, Lawrence Farms. I am delighted with my incredible peaches, tomatoes, sweet red peppers, eggplants, and plums from yesterday's visit.

Didn't have the greatest impression for this grape picking experience from this orchard. First, we messaged the orchard on Friday, 09.11.20 asking if grape picking was available for Sunday, 09.13.20 and they replied yes. In addition, we even checked the site as well and it indicated yes as well. Upon our arrival Sunday morning at 10am, we noticed the board indicated grape picking very few available. We then asked why, the staff working there indicated that there was a deep freeze March/May, which killed half the crops. If this was the case, they could have been honest in the message sent indicating very few available for grape picking. We drove two hours to have just one handful after searching over an hour. Such a waste of time. Dishonesty by the company to get business!!!

I grew up on a farm similar to this and have many fond memories I carry with me til this day. Family-owned and operated, Lawrence Farms Orchards kindled the childhood spirit within me while roaming their beautiful orchards. The friendly staff only enhanced my experience and the apples were pretty delicious too! A big shout out to the Choo-Choo train conductor for all the laughs! Get there if you can, you won't regret it!

We had a fantastic time at Lawrence Farm Orchard this Saturday! My partner, friends, and I were all excited for the apple-picking season, and this orchard did not disappoint. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the grounds were well-kept, making the experience relaxing and enjoyable.
There was a wide variety of apples to choose from, and the orchard layout made it easy to navigate. We loved that the orchard offered more than just apple picking—(Pears, pumkins, peppers, tomatoes, grapes) there were scenic views, a quaint farm store, and even some fun activities for families.
Overall, Lawrence Farm Orchard was the perfect weekend escape for us, blending a peaceful outdoor experience with a fun and rewarding activity. We’ll definitely be coming back!

We have always gone to Lawrence Farms annually for our apple picking. The idea of an admission fee is absolutely ridiculous. We usually spend at least $100 for four people and now an extra $12 on top of that. No thanks We will find another spot. 2 Thumbs down to Lawrence Farms
