Spectacular destination to fully enjoy the Autumnal colors of foliage
Oct 2020
We visit the Skinners Falls, on PA side, first time in September 2020 but we realized that we must go back to see the change of the leaves. Last week, we went back and the foliage was absolutely spectacular!

Good for a short visit
Jul 2020
Stopped here during the week. It wasn't too busy, but I imagine it will be very busy on a weekend. There are tubes to rent for a trip thru the falls - which are actually more of a rapids. You can also walk on a path along the river that will take you to Skinner's Falls Beach. There you can walk on rocks into part of the river. The walk is $1, but well worth it. The $1 walking fee is included in the rental cost of a tube.

Great camping
Jun 2020 • Couples
Just spent 2 night 3 days had a wonderful weekend camping with my husband and some friend. My only complaint was the music had to be lowered at 10:30pm, which was a little annoying I could see a problem with it being pass 12am but 10:30 I felt I was at a kids camp ground. There are showers and restrooms.

Fun summer afternoon
Aug 2019
We rented tubes for a group of 17 people from Lander's River Trips. We enjoyed a beautiful summer day tubing through the falls. There were plenty of other people spending time on the rocks, but it wasn't crowded.

You can bring your own river tube and PFD or rent them when you get there. Put in upriver from the rapids and hold on!. Paddling to the shore after the fast water is easy and you can walk back up to your favorite rock outcropping for a siesta.

Party party party!
Jul 2018 • Family
The bad ones (and there are plenty here) ruin it for everyone. Loud music almost 24 hours. Drunk 20-somethings everywhere. National park service try to maintain control, but to no avail. Fireworks can be expected June-August. Tubing is awesome. And the “falls” (rapids with large boulders to lay on or jump into the water.

I read the bad reviews before we booked it, but decided to give them a chance. Bad idea. None of these bad reviews are exaggerating. We booked a single Saturday night and I thought we were at a music festival. Extremely close sites with people who are set up like they’ve been there for weeks. It wasn’t until 1am that we decided to pack up and leave because our neighbors were still up blasting music and partying with no signs of slowing down. So much for that security that enforces quiet hours on the weekends. Not to mention it costing $50 for two people to camp in a tent in that dump. Look elsewhere, sleep in your car, it’ll be better than this place.

Not impressed
Jul 2018 • Family
my family decided to visit here while on vacation to do some white water rafting. The lady on the phone made it sound like it was intense rapids. That is not the case! Cost 5 people $250 to float down a barely moving river. Plus some of the staff were very rude. Overall we were really disappointed.

Great Day on the River!
Jul 2018 • Friends
We came with 16 people a few days before a wedding and had a BLAST. River was moving very very slowly....and it took about 5.5 hours to get down the river - we ran out of beer and water, but still had a blast. Would highly recommend. Tubes were great and we had a great time! We did think that 5 hours was a bit of a long time...3 hours would have been just fine for being on a lazy river - but you can't control the speed of the river...
