Great drive
Jul 2020
This is my second drive thru the area this month. Well worth it. Very scenic with a number of stops along the way including Roebling's Delaware Aquaduct, Skimmer's Falls and other historic sites like the Corwin Farm to explore. Also several walking paths along what used to be the D & H Canal. The ranger at the Corwin Farm was very helpful with other things to see along the way.

Well worth the trip

This is by far amazing in all ways. The Upper Delaware River is super scenic especially if you float it. Doesn't matter what kind of boat or tube or raft your in. You will enjoy the river!

Just beautiful; Mother Nature knows her stuff
Aug 2019
I came up to Narrowsburg, NY to eat at the Heron restaurant and visit the area for the
night. It is such a beautiful town and such a lovely area to visit.

The view from the bridge is just spectacular and the formations are worthy of any picture. It is such a nice town and the people living here now are mostly artists who are escaping the City. They have really brought the town back to life.

With wonderful restaurants, funky shops, relaxing inns and views of this beautiful river, it makes a nice weekend stay. Take your time going up Route 94 and take lots of pictures. It is such a nice place.

We enjoyed walking over the bridge and seeing the river with all its eddies and flow. There is a nice sitting area on one side where one can sit and enjoy the view

Gorgeous clean country

Water is warm clean and refreshing. The river has it for everyone. Slow spots and fast rapids. Enjoyed the day and respected it. Please don’t bring glass to the river. Don’t want to break glass and cut feet.

Great National Recreational Area
Jul 2018 • Couples
Went here to see one of the other National Parks Service sites. We did a river rafting trip and saw the Roebling Bridge. It was a really fun and relaxing day. Perfect for a river swim in the heat too.

Would definitely come here again. But definitely have an idea of what you want to do while visiting, whether it's something on the water, hiking, etc.

Beautiful scenic river, crystal clear water, tons of wildlife only 100 miles from Times Square. Monitored by US Park Rangers for safety.

So restful
Aug 2017
I've worked here for 20 of the last 30 summers. It is my home away from home. The Upper Delaware is off the beaten track but not too far off the beaten track. The towns are small and there's not a lot to do (unless your a big fan of the river or the fishing). I find that this is just a great place to get away from it all. Don't expect much and you wont be disappointed. There are some hidden gems in the area...Settlers Inn in Hawley, Fort Delaware in Narrowsburg a ton of little roadside ice cream spots. Bring a book and enjoy some nap time.

Such a great river to chill in a tube with another tube filled with beers and just drift for a few hours. Lots of bald eagles. Lots of deer, fish, etc.
