We arrived late afternoon with no one else around. They told us that there was an English guided tour starting in 20 minutes and that we could walk around the castle while waiting. So we paid for the tour and walked around for 20 minutes....More

Worth a stop on your way through the Rhine valley for the views if nothing else, but the restaurant on-site is a bit reluctant from a service point-of-view.

We walked from the train station to this castle. Knowing it was a small town, we packed water and snacks. At the castle, there is a small refreshments stand with tables. The tour guide only speaks German, so we felt we missed out on some...More
