It is next to the bus station, and during the day it can be okay. But at night, there is less lighting and it does not feel safe. I saw a man exercising, and groups walking around. But the safety of ladiea may be compromised.

Still, worth seeing. There should be more places like cafes that would encourage to stay a little longer and enjoy the views.

This is not an exceptional waterfront but it does make for a nice stroll on a cool sunny day. I would save it for a cool day as there is virtually no shade and the walk is concrete so it can get extremely hot and...More

The best waterfront in Mauritius! A splendid view of a historically defining bay where the French naval forces won a pyrrhic victory over the British in 1810... Plus the calm ambience, far away from crowds and all.

Waterfront bu kit in 2002, nice promenade with a few statues/memorials. Views are stunning. On a clear day 'lion mountain ' looks beautiful.
