It is almost a cultural experience just getting down the red dirt roads to find the falls. It makes a great excursion if you happen to be in Jinja. I would not make a separate trip just to see them.

Scary falls but great adventure. It has three parts, easy, medium and hard but your guide should help you navigate your adrenaline/adventure levels quite well. Go for it

I visited the Itanda falls with the rafting team in Jinja,the rapids are amazing with great roar of the waters ,we enjoyed our lunch at the falls the day was thrilling, recommend everyone to visit the Itanda falls.

Almost two hours from Jinja on the dusty road (we don't rush) but really super to sit by the racing, roaring water. Please don't pay the young men to jump in and swim downstream; better to give them something NOT to do it. Super place...More

Apparently I would say it is the only beautiful falls left on the Nile river, which is so sad to say, but the good news is, it is very spectaculars to watch the water play hide and seek with the rocks

Its water falls which was created as alternative for bujagali falls, its nice water rapids and used for water rafting, kayking, its nice view with birds around it is wonderful,
