Don't miss out on this if you are in Kariba. It's a great chance to experience the widest expanse of the lake without getting on the water. It would be a great place to take in a sunset with a view. The ladies at the curio market right next to the view can be a bit overwhelming with their insistence to buy their wares once you visit their stalls. They will not, however, in my experience, disturb you when you are looking over the water.

There is also a sculpture called Kariba Waves by a local artist, and a memorial to Operation Noah - the rescue operation for animals who were stranded as the lake levels rose after Kariba Dam was completed.

The view point is well worth the hike or drive up. Breathtaking panoramic view of the lake, marina and the islands. Definitely add this to your bucket list! The drive/hike to the viewpoint takes you through The Heights, a quaint neighbourhood which I learned was actually the main town prior to the exodus of the Caucasian community from the area. Hints of its glory days are evidenced by the rundown rustic bustops peppered throughout the area. Expect to find curios at the view point. A mix of batiks, crotchety, sculptures, wooden carvings etc.

Hey if your in town make sure you rub up the hill and grab a selfie! I enjoy looking for Zebra's while navigating the turns on the road.

It’s a very nice place. The view of the lake is absolutely stunning. It’s not well sign posted but the locals are very helpful is you ask for directions. It’s a must see in Kariba.

This point is really great, specially crossing border from Zambia to Zimbabwe by car, bus, motorcycle or walking.

It's kind of a must for first timers to Kariba to see the Dam Wall and see what forms the lake. Interesting articles and info in the tourist center as well if you're into reading.
