Called in for lunch with my wife. Landlord was pleasant, beer was good but the meal was poor. Mine was ok just the portion was small but my wife had a veggie burger which was bland and very dry. Would not go there again.

Lovely country pub (not manyof these left these days). Warm friendly welcome, and excellent food. Definitely dog friendly. Water provided for the dog, without us asking and plenty of fuss. Extra ice cream at no extra cost. Tnank you.More

Great Sunday afternoon music a real shame for all you people who missed it. Great atmosphere, food is very good too with very reasonable prices. Really lovely village pub.

We often go for a lovely lunch here .either with friends or as a couple . They do a lovely 2 course lunch for amazing£6.95. Monday to Saturday. And have a nice sitting area outside also .More
