Decided to visit as the reviews seemed good and it sounded like a nice place to have a wander, see some bird life and grab some lunch. How anyone can stay for 2 hours is a mystery...the cages are poor, the random animals looked bored...More

Hi there. It would be a big help if you could let us know where you found that leaflet. It would be at least six years old and was published by a previous owner. None of our leaflets since 2013 say anything of the sort...More

Hi there. I’m sorry you found so little to do on your visit, but I’m glad you at least liked the coffee and our leaflet, which I hope explains clearly – before you come – that Claythorpe ended its days as a working mill in...More

Hi there. We’ve been overwhelmed by the support and encouragement of the local community as we work through the transformation at Claythorpe. They see how far we’ve come, the work we’ve done every year since taking over here, and we hope you’ll be the ones...More
