Visited this with my girlfriend on the 4th. Very quiet and very beautiful. We just walked around and enjoyed the gazebo. There was summer camp going on when we got there, too, which was pretty cool to see.

A great place to get away from the noise of today's world. There are courses offered in Buddhist teachings (a peaceful way of life), meditations, and even just walking the grounds lifts your spirits and calms your mind. The vegetarian lunch is also very good.

Went on Buddha's birthday which is also Mother's day. beautiful statues, talented ethnic dancers, music and vendors. Most days it is very quiet, with walking trails, contemplative lake and beautiful spiritual environment.

I don't think they are allowed. Generally it is expected that visitors do not bring pets and that they respect the quiet solitude of the surroundings. The monastery is surrounded by forest. Its really nice. If you needed to... More
