Impressed by the beauty, dignity and reverence of this expansive cemetery for veterans. Winding roads, well maintained lawns and the symmetry of the headstones all are characteristics.

A trip worthy of the travel. This place gives a deeper meaning to the words "stand beside her" in the hymn God Bless America into perspective. One wants to salute every grave stone and say thank you!

Beautiful cemetery, very well maintained. My in~laws are buried here, and my father in is a niche (he was cremated), which I personally do not like. Very cold. So much nicer to be buried, with a nice headstone. It's also like an animal sanctuary. We...More

My mom was buried there 4 1/2 years ago and the service was so beautiful. My dad was just buried there on 1/9/2018 and again, it was so dignified and honorable. Just watching my Dad's flag being folded was a memory I will never forget....More

Sometimes I go by myself and sometimes with family. Both my mom and dad rest there. Always well maintained.

Our loved ones rest here. When we come to visit their site it is always neat, grass cut and very respected. It's sad when we come here but the staff maintains it so well that it's nice to visit.

The closest LIRR Station would be Riverhead, New York. If you are coming from the west, you would take the Ronkonkoma line and change at Ronkonkoma for the train to Riverhead. Unfortunately, the service is limited, years ago... More
