Beautiful abbey with a nice boutique in the basement, selling cheese and other food products mostly made in the monastery. Don't miss their cheese collections. They are really delicious and also inexpensive.

A beautiful place both inside and outside. We were sorry not to hear the Gregorian Chanting but did avail ourselves of the shop with an amazing assortment of delicious cheese.

Though I am not very religious, I found the serene setting to be very restful. We attended 11:00 mass and the Gregorian chants were beautiful and absorbing, making one contemplative. We also stopped at the shop and bought some delicious chocolates and vinegar. It was...More

One of the hidden gems of Canada, tucked away in the hills of Quebec. A fascinating history and story, and the cheeses are amazing. Whether or not you are on a spiritual journey, you will be touched by visiting here.

This abbey had a much more contemporary design than I think most would expect. It's a bit off the beaten path. So, for us, it probably wasn't worth the drive. We were really only there about 20 minutes. I think you can see prettier pictures...More
