A truly memorable experience. We stayed at Grootbos and nearly missed out on this- definitely the highlight of our stay. We were mixed ability/fitness/confidence but Dave made everybody feel at ease. The views were spectacular- felt as if we had the vast dunes and Walker Bay all to ourselves. Some great pics and videos forwarded to us afterwards, taken by Dave with his selfie-stick. We also learnt more about the local flora and fauna than we did from our guide at Grootbos! Highly recommended.

This experience was amazing! It ticked so many boxes. We had fun, a bit of exercise and we learnt a lot about the dunes and local area, wildlife and plant life. Some of us stretched ourselves beyond where we expected we could or would in terms of the steep slopes and techniques. Dave was remarkable. He adapted the experience for each of us to make sure we came away invigorated and proud of what we had all achieved on the bike and learnt from him. 100% recommended.

A brilliant tour. Dave was a great tour guide, both in encouraging those of us in the group that were a little nervous and with all his knowledge on the area and wildlife. I definately recommend!

Amazing tour through the dunes - and the best of it? Dave leading and guiding us with adrenalin and expert knowledge about the area. 10/10 would recommend!
My key takeaway of this tour and future life motto: Be like a honey badger!
Thank you Dave!

LOVED this activity. Dave was super fun and lively. He was very hot on safety while embracing the adventurous spirit and super encouraging! The tour took in amazing views, and Dave shared lots of fun stories and local nature/intel which we really enjoyed hearing about. I also (with his help) surprised myself and got brave enough to cycle down one of the steep dunes (but there were always less steep alternatives). Thanks for a great day out, and a fantastic video and set of photos to remember it by.

An enriching, fascinating and fun couple of hours on the fat bikes in Grootbos with a brilliant local guide, Dave. The biking on the dunes was relatively easy to master after a couple of lessons from Dave. After that it was slalom and exhilaration after we descended various levels of dune. Dave showed us some incredible local plants and animals, including fresh Honey Badger tracks and the hole where it had hunted and dug out a mole. Probably the best activity in the area and highly recommended if you have at least basic bike skills.

Excellent day out with Dave on the fatbikes in the dunes. Great family trip (although a bit of confidence on bikes is required). Dave also provided some excellent videos of our afternoon out.
