A typical trip will have you exploring our magnificent coastline and bay while looking for whales, dolphins, sharks, seals and seabirds. Apart from the Southern Right Whales, we are able to view Brides Whales, Humpback Whales and possibly even Great White Sharks. There are many Cape Fur Seals, African Penguins, Dolphins, Sunfish and plenty of coastal marine birds to been seen whilst out at sea.

Fantastic experience! Saw far more whales than we expected, and got some incredible pictures. Skippers were very friendly and very knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend!

Best whale watching trip ever! We were not many people on the boat (something like 15) so it was not crowded at all and made very enjoyable. The guides gave LOADS of information and were super friendly. We have a lot if whales, going under the boat and breaching. As bonus we also had dolphins

Was quite interesting.A bit long for some people who showed signs of seasickness.Must be because of the strong winds.Sea life was a bit shy it seems..but with nature you are always at risk of not knowing what you will see .

The captain was very kind and spontaneous and explained lots of things to us about the whales and was very passionated about them. It was a very special experience!

We went on this trip today and I would recommend it very highly. I love whale watching and this is one of the best trips I have done. It's a small boat and they don't pack you on like sardines which I hate. Brilliant, friendly and knowledge crew, you get to see the whales so much better than a big boat. The only tip I would give is take an anti seasickness. I was fine but some weren't because there was quite a swell. With it being a small boat you are much closer to the water. I will be back. Thanks so much chaps it was brilliant 😊

We had an amazing time and saw a lot of whales! The group was not too big and the guide was really nice and had answers to all our questions. We learned so much about these amazing animals and heard a lot of great stories. I can recommend this tour 100%. It‘s worth the price.

Most incredible whale watching experience ever with Southern Right whales with calves coming right up to our drifting boat diving underneath and all around the boat

Main Whale Season runs June to December, when migrating southern right whales come to our shoes, this is a main high season as whale sightings and whale interaction should be very good.
In low season Jan to May, we still have local whales, Bryde's whales but generally the sightings and interaction is less as this is a fast hunter whale and is nature is diffrent to that of the southern right whale which is more curious. In low season we spend our time looking for our BIG , Brydes, Dolphin, Seal, Penguin and marine birds.
You generally see all the species in both seasons but we spend more time in Whale Season looking and observing Southern Right Whales.
Hi, we would like to book the combo tour with the sharks and the whales..
Is there only the tour in the early Morning or also One around 10 am or later. And is it ok just to watch the sharks because i just like to See them without going to the water or would you recommend another tour then
The combo trip is sharks normally around 6am to 8am, this time is only given the evenign before.
We then put you on Ivanhoe for our 1pm trip.
You can just watch the sharks from the boat, you do not have to get in the cage. The seat price is the same, cage or no cage.
Hi - I took this tour in September and saw breaching whales and mothers and their calves. Of course you cannot predict nature so this is no guarantee you will see anything-however this outfit are very professional and skilled so I would not hesitate in recommending them
Hi, we would like to take a whale watching tour in Cape Town end of next week and before booking we wanted to ask if whale watching is worth doing in late April. Are whales at all to be seen? Thanks!
