We drove as family of 5 from Montagu to do the famous shark cage dive with Marine Dynamics. We stayed over in one of their accommodation option the evening before the dive. The accommodation was everything we expected, very clean and comfortable. We had a walk around Kleinbaai in the morning, and also enjoyed a great breakfast at the Great White House. This is also where the cage dive trip starts. For the dive, we were met by our marine biologist and guide - Aleyna for a debriefing, were issued with life jackets, and set off for the boat. We were very impressed with the boat, and felt very safe and comfortable for the duration of the trip. I did the dive with our 3 children, and my wife took loads of pictures and video. We saw 4 sharksm up very close whilst in the cage, and also a massive stingray. The wetsuits protected us agaist the cold, and we had an awesome time watching the sharks come right up to the cage. We got delicious hot chocolate when we got back on board, and enjoyed the cruize back, seeing dolphins, seals and loads of playfull seabirds. The staff went out the way to make us comfortable, and were very informative about all teh wildlife we encountered. This is most definately a trip that will be remembered by all of us, and something that should be on everyone's bucket list!

Absolute highlight of our trip! We had a fantastic time on the Whale Whisperer boat and all staff made this an unforgettable experience! This trip was a wedding present for our friends who just got married a few days before. We were welcomed by friendly staff when we arrived at the restaurant and then given an interesting intro into the day. After that we walked over to the marina and boarded the boat with the skipper, marine biologist and an animal spotter. We were quickly rewarded with spotting a large group of bottlenose dolphins, then penguins, seals and a couple of sharks. Unfortunately no whales but the Southern Right migrated already. All staff cared for us perfectly throughout the trip and made us feel very welcome. We would recommend this to everyone, great for all ages.

Marine Dynamics run a superb and professional operation. We were a group of 9 and enjoyed sitting on the roof section of the Dream Catcher. Times are tough, but they took all required safety precautions and had a number of knowledgeable team members and a marine biologist on board.

The team at Dyer are very friendly. We saw seals, dolphins, sharks and seals. They take their time spotting so we get to see some of the big 5. Highly recommend them

We have had an amazing day trip from Stellenbosch lovely drive to Gansbaai. Sandra, Janine and Tracey of the Staff welcomed us in such a friendly way, providing us interesting and helpful information. Since the very beginning was immediately very clear that this Company works with passion and the main is to protect and conserve the Nature and the treasures it has. Giving the possibility to people to discover the beautiful the Ocean has to offer us, with a great and well prepared Team and maryine biologists! You have the feeling that with your little support you can also play an important role to rescue the marine lifes so much in danger due to the humans... The communications since the beginning are super, when you arrive they will offer you a cup of tee or coffee and muffins while waiting for the information meeting. After that you will have your own safe jacket and a orange jacket that will be very useful during the trip. Short walk to the horbor and on board to a very well maintened boat ideal for whale watching! We went with our 2 children (11 and 7 years old) and both of them simply loved the trip! We could see shark, seals, whales, penguins and my husband also noticed a dolphin! For animal and nature lovers is a must! Once back we enjoyed a lunch at their coffee shop, lovely shopping at their shop and we could support an important project that is trying to save the African Penguins (if things won't change unfortunately studies shows that in 2026 we will loose them forever....so sad....). Once we left we could reach only a few minutes drive the 'African Penguin & Seabird Sanctuary' where you can enjoy a lovely coffee shop while watching the rescued penguins! If you go at 3pm you will assist the feeding!! I do hope that in this difficult time we, as locals, can highly support this company, enjoying an amazing day trip to discover the marine big 5!
