Blessing of the Harvest 2024. Just had the most awesome wine tasting day with Anné, winemaker of Lomond, and Lost Boy Trev. People with passion for what they do- what a difference that makes. Staff excellent, wines excellent- well done to the whole team. We will be back

Really lovely visit to this understated wine estate. Set alongside a beautiful dam; we enjoyed great wine tasting and there are the most yummy pizzas ! Our excellent hostess Zaida explained the various wines professionally and with passion. Thanks to her, and discovering the SMV Belladonna … we bought a case.

The wines are divine particularly the Sugarbush Sauvignon Blanc and The Cat’s Tail red. You have to have the Trout Platter as well. Gorgeous wine, gorgeous food and gorgeous views

You have to visit Lomond Winery when you are in the Overberg region. By far the best wine estate. Gorgeous wines, fabulous platters and knowledgeable and friendly staff. Relaxed beautiful setting :)

This is a must if you are in the Gansbaai / Struisbaai region. Lomond offers exceptional wines with several tasting options. They serve locally produced products with their platters which is sourced in the Overberg area. We spent a few hours with our family and the kind hostess made a protea bouquet specially for my mother in law, who is quite sick due to cancer. As I write this review, we are all enjoying a glass of Syrah. Thank you to the friendly people from Lomond.

I had the pleasure of taking old friends of mine from Gauteng, for lunch on Saturday at Lomond. The setting, ambiance, and service were delightful.

Their merlot rose wine is brilliant, and I would happily recommend it.

Their top platter on the menu was fantastic but unfortunately fell short because of a lack of biscuits/bread served with the tasty meats and cheese and preservatives.

The dichotomy for me is that this is obviously the least expensive part of the meal, and we had to ask for additional bread which we were charged for. The meal was served with four or five round biscuits, one delicious 'brootjie' cut into four pieces, and a small packet for 'fin crips' that were regrettably broken and splintered.

As we ate our meal, I could not help to notice that other patrons also ordered additional bread/biscuits

I would highly recommend this venue but sincerely hope that they rectify their silly oversight.

We stumbled upon Lomond by chance and decided to do a wine tasting on the spur of the moment. What a pleasant experience. Really enjoyed their whites, rose and lighter reds. Walked away with 12 bottles. The lady presenting the wines was very knowledgeable about each of the 10 wines we tasted (5 per person). They also offer a trout and wine pairing which is something different. Would've been nice if they served plain water biscuits or crackers with the normal tasting though as most of the snacks on sale has their own strong tasty flavours.
We didn't order food in the restaurant but it looked like the pizzas were very popular.
