Very informative and has a nice bookshop. The history of Calitzdorp is very well presented with lots of old items to view.

The Museum is funded by donations. One way of making money is to ask for donations of books - and they sell the books. The most interesting books. Also the history of various families are displayed. Worth visiting the Museum

A lovely little museum, with friendly, helpful volunteer staff. It gives a lot of information on this lovely little town. The secondhand bookshop has some great titles for sale. Entry by a small donation. Well worth it!

If you are interested in history of south africa or africa you have to visit this small museum. The woman inside explained everything in a very kindly way.

A wonderful collection of local and national artifacts casually displayed for the browser. Lovely collection of old books,Afrikaans and English, for sale.

great and informative experience of what Calitzdorp and the surrounds was like since the 1800's. lots of photographs and antiques.

Dropped in for a quick visit but ended up being there for a few hours as the staff and exhibits are very informative.

I had a friend visiting from Sweden and took her to the C'dorp museum. We were both VERY impressed. Very informative and very pleasant staff!
