To be fair, we just drove around it, but there are shops and restaurants within walking distance, and it's old-timer and photogenic.

We went to Bosque to see the birds and stayed in Socorro. Stopped by the Plaza since there is not much more to see in Socorro.

Beautiful plaza! It has memorials erected for each branch of the military. That's great to see! Would recommend that you just drive around it to see it. We went around it a couple of times to see it all.

Well maintained square in historic Socorro. Worth a look, but not a major stop. Pretty quiet on a Sunday afternoon.

My husband and I went to plaza in Socorro, NM on a Tuesday afternoon. The square was maintained well. The armed forces memorial was very nice as well. Certain worth a drive by or 15 minutes walk.

Get a coffee fro M Mountain and kick back. The park is beautifully maintained, green and cool in the summer, warm and sunny in the winter.

Small plaza worthy of photograph, overall not much to see. Few shops scattered around plaza with limited open hours.

I had begun my pedaling journey the previous day, immediately after work at 8600 Alameda, El PasoTX-USA. Since I was already close to the "International Ft. Hancock - Las Cruces I-10 Bicycle Bypass", it was an easy cycle onto Davis Drive > Elvin Way >...More
