The farm has been the jewel of the Bovlei valley for three centuries and has had many owners. The current farm dates from 1993 with the decision to grow high quality wine grapes. The first vines were planted in 1995. Since the present owners acquired it in 2003, they have built a winery, tasting room and storage complex. In 2005, the farm was given Estate status.

Right at the end of the Bo-vlei road and right beneath Bainskloof pass with stunning scenery. I enjoyed their wines and had a nice cold meat and cheese platter for lunch. Friendly service and a must do estate if you're after good wines

The wine estate is a hidden treasure with great wines, enjoy the wine tasting and do the walk. There is no big show - it is about the wine. The wines are great and price is more than reasonable.

Great wines, accompanied with delicious platters. We tried 5 white wines and 5 red wines. It was difficult to choose which to buy. It is in a great location. Staff were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

Great wine tasting experience. The staff were pleasant to talk with providing a history of the winery and discussions on the various wines we were tasting. This was a location off the hard top road and a little remote. Well worth the trip. I left...More
