We packed a picnic basket and had a very nice whole day. Beautiful senery. Lots of animals and a good variety. Beautiful inviting campsite. Definetly a place to visit

Beautiful location, chalets all nicely located and close enough for large groups to do group bookings but also giving you privacy. Fully equipped for self catering. It really was a wonderful getaway and relaxing.

IsabellaNicole - looks like your question was answered before asked :-) I would form part of the group saying you should get a car from Swellendam or ask your hosts to take you, and even then the entrance (in April) not... More

When we visited three weeks ago that was not necessary. I don't know about now with the South African Xmas holidays, but would still think it is not necessary.
