Great value in a beautiful Overberg setting. Buggy Hire, Clubs , Balls & all the necessary for an enjoyable game of golf.

We played the course several times on our stay in Swellendam and really enjoyed it. We were surprised at how challenging and beautiful it was. Was in great shape - especially considering they hadn't had much rain. Mark and the other staff members were welcoming, friendly and accommodating. Had some lunch - toastie and a footlong hotdog and both were excellent and VERY well priced! Will definitely play again on our next trip through Swellendam.

This 9hole golf club is perfect for a no nonsense round of golf. Nothing spectacular, but well maintained. The views on the surrounding mountains are great.
As it is a local club, we had to wait a bit as there was a running contest from the local school. After which we continued our game...

My husband and I are on a golfing holiday to cape Town area from uk. We have played few courses in the area and Swellendam is above average. Although there is a draught in the area, this course has grass on the fairways and the greens are well maintained. It's a 9 hole course but can be played as a 18 hole course with varying tee positions.
The green fees are not too high and tee times easily available. Would recommend it. We played 2 rounds here

I've visited with my husband and his family. It is a very laid back establishment. As I remember they proudly told us they are the cheapest bar in town, but they didn't serve food. Only a bug buggy's were on hire but nobody seemed to mind walking the course. Very friendly and have visited more than once,

The course had some interesting holes but was pretty straight forward and not challenging with a couple of exceptions. The greens were good and the fairways were in reasonable shape.However the setting is exceptional with the mountains as a backdrop.

Played an enjoyable round of golf at Swellendam Golf course! No stiff rules! All for the sake of fun on the course! Course is well maintained and people are wonderfully friendly!!

The small town golfcourses are the best African golf experience there is. Just go in and enjoy the friendly atmosphere of the Swellendam golf course.

this is a crazy golf course. it is a must play. do not take it seriously - just hit that ball and see what it and the terrain decides to do with it. And the view is fantastic

A simple 9 hole course but fun and friendly. The club had no problem with me walking round with my husband as his 'caddie'. It was a pleasant afternoon with great service from the club itself

Don't know about the buggy but my wife and I paid R225 each for 18 holes (quit after 15 because of the heat) and basic pull trolleys. The views magnificent.
