Privste cars ,ubers and Taxis stop on the pedestrian crossing at entrance one. Drop or load shoppers while other traffic that want to pass entrance one from either side had to wait till the whomever drops or load passengers and their shopping. It become frustrating to wait for an just don't care driver to do all his things while others must wait. Please do something about it before roadrage happen at entrance 1. Thank you.

On Sunday the 10th April whilst shopping in Woolworths I misplaced my car keys. This was only noticed when I got to the till. Obviously I panicked and tried to retract steps. Left the shop immediately to go stand by my car. As my dad had a spare car key I waited for him before leaving me car and returning to Woolies. Thandiswa who was so helpful and kept me calm through this advised that the keys were handed in. The staff was so helpful and caring and rejoiced with me. God bless your staff, they are the best. ♥️

Surprised by High cost of a simple hair cut for men in the Mall. In the area for few days and went into Shop 37a Partners in Hair for men for a 20 minute hair cut which costed me R 235. I cut my hair regularly in George and I had never paid more than R150 for a cut, also in many other places. This was surely the most expensive 20 minutes in my life.

If you are looking for relaxed atmosphere, good food and great service go to Mugg & Bean, Somerset West Mall.
They make the best bottomless coffee and scone.
Hope, was our waitress, we've been there couple of time but she is always attentive, polite and friendly.
I will highly recommend that if you happen to be around Somerset West Mall, Mugg & Bean is where you should go.

I suppose for the seasoned shopper a trip to the Somerset Mall would be great. The mall is situated so close to other magnificent things to do that going to the mall should really only be for groceries and potentially a coffee. There are few boutique shops and the general stores are all there.

Bad security, armed robbery happened over the weekend where things got bad. Also for over 3 times the roof completely breaks. Going to Somerset West Mall really is a risk for your life.
They should up their game for security & the safety of all guest entering the mall.

I am a typical older male shopper and not given to loitering around large malls for the fun of it. Somerset Mall and its free parking, both open and under cover, is well divided into four areas (all under one roof)and if you know what is where, it is possible to save a lot of time by going straight to the correct section. It has a wide variety of stores and most of the major chains: there are a lot of other shops, to which you can easily drive, near the mall in an informal organization which can complete most of your shopping needs. It has ample food outlets and amenities. Walking can be extensive if your needs are scattered in different sections. I understand that choice for the ladies reflects the peri-urban nature of Somerset West, (neither a major centre nor rural). It is overall clean and bright but the electric carts remain an unseen mystery after many visits.

With about 200 shops this mall is much smaller than the malls we regularly visit in Gauteng and Natal but what it lacks in quantity it makes up in quality. We were initially impressed by the easily accessible and free parking followed by the pleasantly understated interior decor. The next pleasant surprise was the wide range of eateries, many of which we had not previously encountered but including all the ubiquitous chains that inhabit every mall. The latter comment applies also to the shops which were adequately represented. A unique feature that we haven't previously seen is the golf cart type transport that was ferrying the elderly around the mall. All in all an interesting experience and worth a repeat visit.

As a rule I’m not a great mall enthusiast but this one deserves a mention. It is well-run and pristinely clean with cleverly designed sections. The parking covered and open allows access to the four sections. Stores of all varieties are mixed and segregated to give a pleasant context. Everything under one (almost) adjoining roof, attractive, clearly signed facilities, wifi and electric carts for the elderly and infirm. All needs are catered for and staff extremely helpful.

Somerset Mall offers a huge range of choice and experiences for shoppers with over 200 stores. This includes top of the range fashion, department stores and restaurants.
As tourists we make this regular visit of 2-3 hours. On our most recent visit it included Ou Meul Bakery for coffee, Limnos Bakery for after dinner cake, Clicks for toiletries etc and Pick n Pay for shopping. There was also time for a haircut (including neck and head massage) and clothes shopping at H&M, Foshini, Markham and Edgars.
