We visit the market regularly on a Saturday morning and really enjoy the vibe and variety of stalls.
This review is for the Wednesday Evening Market which unfortunately we find quite disappointing. It is advertised as a food market but there are very few stalls available and the prices being charged are ridiculous. R80 for a small bowl of cabbage stew from the Polish stall is unbelievable. I found 5 small cubes of pork so the fish is obviously mainly cabbage, one if the cheapest vegetables available. This week my friend paid R160 for barbequed lamb, the plate being full of inedible fat.
The live music has also been very disappointing, with most of the performers lacking personality. Except for Shaza who was absolutely fabulous. Great voice and fantastic rapport with the audience. Couldn't believe that this week was just a guy playing music from his laptop. No speakers so most of us couldn't even hear the music.
It's such a shame. We still go every week as we want to support local ventures and we still manage to have a good social evening.
But something definitely has to be done about the quality of the performers, the food stalls and the prices.

A visit to this market is a must as there is a great variety of goods - lots of options for gifts and lots of places to get good from. it is relaxed but can get very full after mid December. The craft market on the other side of the petrol station has some unique stalls too

I love going to Mosaic Market after buying the weekly groceries at Wild Oats
We like to go and sit at the tea place in the middle, and have a glass of wine while listening to the music. We buy nibbles from the different stalls, and just chill and people watch!

Spoilt for choice.... so much to see, eat and do, koffie shops which are simply outstanding, food which causes salivation just looking at it , music which is original be it jazz, rock & roll or kaapse klopse.

A less manic market than the Wild Oats market neighbors in the same venue. Lots of different options for unique gifts, homeware and unusual clothing. Worth a visit. Enjoy!

Plenty of interest to buy, to wear, to eat. Local musician, craft beers, play area and train rides for the kids. Great accompaniment alongside the Saturday morning Wild Oats Community Farmers Market

Good variety, nice layout, ample parking. Many African type stalls, but also many others. More than enough parking even on a busy day. And close to Wild Oaks market

It's a nice outing on Saturday mornings and the people are always nice and friendly. The atmosphere is great and they stay open a bit longer than the Wild Oats market; until 14h00.

If you enjoy wandering around well set out markets, this is for you. Not cheap but most things are of a good quality. Good food and coffee can be found too, which can be enjoyed whilst sitting listening to luve music.
