A wide variety of art. Worth a walk through and look at. The building is bright and spacious. Very interesting.

Very interesting gallery of local art and the lady on duty was very knowledgeable and proud of the achievements of the locals.

There is a surprising number of South African artists' work on display in this gallery, some well-known, others new on the art scene, but it is always interesting to see just how creative folk can be!
The gallery is housed in a beautiful double-storeyed building, but unfortunately, due to time constraints, I could only cover the ground floor rooms.
I loved the trees done by David Blackie and there were many other artists whose work I recognised, the local ceramic artist Charmaine Hains being one of them.
The staff are outgoing and friendly and even if you are just browsing and not a serious art investor, you are cordially treated.

We visited Prince Albert for the Open Studio weekend. This was our 1st stop, as all the participating artists work was exhibited here. 2 floors and various rooms full of beautiful art.

Whenever I visit Prince Albert, I will have a look at the Prince Albert Art Gallery. They have always interesting exhibitions from painters, photographers, potters, etc. And the building itself is also worth visiting. Upstairs, there is also a very pleasant restaurant, the Gallery café
