The nine day Garden Route tour was amazing! It was definitely the highlight of my South Africa trip. I never experienced that much in only nine days - hiking, shark cage diving, bungee jumping, wine tasting, a safari and even more and all of that in different locations with new places to explore and to experience. Having a personal tour guide was the best decision because Dylan made our tour perfect. He was funny, motivated, connected us with new people and most importantly showed us the best spots and places we probably never would’ve known about. And because he did all of the planning and organisation we were just able to relax and enjoy the tour. Nonetheless we had a lot of opportunities to make our own decisions. Big Thanks to Dylan Curtis and bokbus for making this tour unforgettable and giving us the most eventful nine days with lots of laughter and fun!

I loved the tour! Our guide Dylan had a lot of Energie and you could see that he enjoys beeing a Tour guide. Even beeing on the Road was alot of fun because he accepted all the music wishes. If I want to do a tour the next time I am going to south africa I would for sure book a tour with Dylan Curtis from BokBus.

My family and I did the 3 day safari from Cape Town with BokBus. Our guide, Mawande, was fantastic. He was very helpful and knowledgeable. Highly recommend having him do your tour.
We were able to see breaching whales, Cape Agulhas, and a nice sandy beach on the first day.
The second day highlight was definitely the safari. The lodge was amazing. Great food and accommodations! You won’t be disappointed.
The third day started with a short safari to see Giraffe and ended with a wine/chocolate tasting. The vineyard also did a juice and chocolate tasting for the children.
I would highly recommend Mawande and BokBus to anyone (couples, families, young, and old) traveling to Cape Town.

We went on the 3 Day Safari Weekend Tour with Mawande as our guide.
First and foremost Mawande really made our tour, incredibly friendly and knowledgeable of the local areas and the histories of this amazing county.
The 3 day tour is more a relaxed version of the 2 day tour, it contains the same activities just spread over a further day, allowing greater time to explore Stony Point (Penguins), Hermanus (Whale Bay), Cape Agulhas (most southern point), along with some smaller towns for coffee breaks.
The safari tour at the reserve was something else. A few of the animals are rescue and not local to the area but much better to have them there rather than cruelly caged up. They act like they are in the wild which is fantastic to see. Accommodation and food were superb!
I would strongly recommend this tour, especially over 3 days if you have the time and would prefer a more relaxed experience. And if you can get Mawande even better!

I would highly recommend this tour for a number of reasons. The game lodge was the highlight and a very special experience, with clear sightings of every African animal you would wish to see, beautiful surroundings, incredible views of stars, sunset and sunrise and very good food and accommodation.
Sadly the weather precluded us from seeing many penguins at Betty’s Bay - can’t blame Bokbus for that! But by the time we got to Hermanus and Cape Aghuilas, the weather had cleared to reveal beautiful views.
Mawande gave us an insightful and well informed commentary as we travelled there and back. He is a proficient guide and a really lovely person as a bonus! We travelled as a family and it was good to hear about this wonderful country from a local perspective. For those travelling alone, this tour provides the added bonus of safely providing travel and dinner companions.

Our guide Mawande was exceptional in every way. He took very good care of us throughout the trip and made sure we were well looked after. Mawande went over above his job to ensure we had a good time and were comfortable throughout the 4 day tour.
He took the trouble to explain to us in detail the history of South Africa and because of him the trip became very meaningful and memorable.
The accommodation and food were amazing throughout the 4 day tour. The car was cleaned and ready for us everyday.
Most of all it was Mawande’s hospitality, his knowledge, positive attitude, empathy and warmth that made this trip one of the best.
I cannot recommend Mawande highly enough.
He took the trouble to explain to us in detail the history of South Africa and because of him the trip became very meaningful and memorable.

Our guide was Dylan and I can say with certainty that he was the best tour guide I have ever had on a tour. He always made sure that we managed all the activities on time and always spread a good mood. In general it was a really great time and you could tell how much he enjoyed his work. he brought harmony, fun and adventure to the group. only recommended

It was a great 2 day tour! On the way to the game lodge we stopped at Bettys Bay Beach and watched the penguins. Then we went to Hermanus, the place is a small cozy town. After a little refreshment we went to the Game Lodge. The facility was really nice, and also our chalet was so cozy. My highlight was definitely the safari... in the evening we saw the cheetahs up close, wow! The next morning, the second safari started at sunrise. We saw lions, elephants, zebras and also the guide took a lot of time and made the safari an extraordinary experience. After a hearty breakfast we went back to Cape Town. Mawande, our driver, always took our wishes into consideration. Everything was very well organized and we were driven back to our accommodation.
Great tour, I can only recommend!!!

**Review for 5-Day Bokbus Garden Route Tour**

The 5-day Bokbus Garden Route tour was an incredible experience! Our guide, Vaughan, was fantastic – attentive, collaborative, and extremely well-prepared. He ensured we were comfortable and had everything we needed while sharing his knowledge about the stunning places we visited.
The sights along the route were absolutely amazing – from breathtaking coastlines to lush forests and charming towns, every stop was memorable. While there were moments where the pace felt a bit rushed, it’s understandable given the amount of ground we covered in just five days.
Overall, I would highly recommend this trip. It’s a perfect way to see so much of South Africa in a short time, and it created so many memories I’ll cherish forever. If you’re up for an adventure-packed journey, this tour is for you!

My wife and I just returned from a two day trip to Garden Route Game Lodge, from Cape Town.
We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. We travelled in a small group with regular stops, and our guide Mawande provided detailed commentary along the entire route.
Once at the game lodge, we had a beautiful room overlooking the reserve and had two brilliant game drives. The lodge itself is picturesque and the service was excellent.
Would highly recommend.

Are we too old at 63 to enjoy this tour ? Have the overnight rooms got private facilities

Hello .We just completed the tour and I am 66 and my husband is 71 . There was another man on the tour who was also about the same age . So we observed the bunjee jump. We were a bit slow at some of the attractions . I did not go all the way to the suspension bridge and back . But there was nothing we could not do at all. And people were always helpful. We stayed in the bed and breakfast accommodation. This was very comfortable and clean with private facilities. However, if you opt for the cheaper option then the accommodation is backpacker style.
