I found their wines to be some of the best in Franschhoek. I suggest doing a double stint here if on the wine tram.

Third trip to Franschhoek and we decided to stay at Grande Provence this time. Wr keep going back and this wine farm is still my very favourite in all of Franshhoek. I feel its the most well maintained - very modern aspects (e.g artwork) but...More

We visited the estate as part of our scenic wine lands tour from our cruise ship. This was the lunch stop which had been described as a "picnic lunch" on the tour publicity. The estate exudes class and has beautiful gardens and buildings as well...More

Visited as part of Wine Tram red route. Service a little slow as place was busy as expected when tram deposited its clients. Very photogenic gardens.

This estate is worth visiting. The setting and set up is beautiful. Don't go for dinner, the prices are way over priced. Rather go for lunch. Tasting room is really nicely set up. Try the Angel Tears wine and read the moving story about the...More

My husband and I visited this place as part of the winetram tour. We had a long table in the gardens dedicated solely for the winetram clients - I suspect this was as much to keep from disrupting other guests with a large group as...More

We particularly enjoy a visit here to stroll in the sculpture garden and check out the gallery (both highly recommended).

I would think reservations are needed in tasting room on a weekday. Meals in evening and weekends are typically booked. You will love this place.
