Tucked in a courtyard just behind the main road (easy to find as there are a couple of signs). Friendly and efficient staff. Food and drink met expectations and reasonably priced. Good music in the background too.

This is our go-to place to eat that is really well priced in the touristy Frnaschhoek area. I had a schnitzel that was really good and hubby had ribs and chips that he enjoyed too. And our waiter was super friendly!

While staying over in Franschhoek we stopped at Elephant and Barrel to have something to quench our thirst before moving on to a "proper" restaurant for dinner. We ended up staying for a drink (maybe too many), a meal and lively music. Being within walking...More
