What a fantastic experience, this is a must do excursion for anyone visiting Franschhoek. It’s is a very well oiled machine, with everything perfectly to time and on schedule, literally to the second. The staff are really friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable, especially the twin brothers...More

This is an old tram service that was changed in 2012 to a tourist hop-on, hop-off service to visit a selection of vineyards for tastings. There are several different routes and the service is reliable and efficient. You spend a minimum of an hour at...More

We booked the wine tram initially because it seemed the most practical way to visit several vineyards without a car, but the ride turned out to be a very enjoyable part of the excursion in itself - the quirky old bus and tram and the...More

Honestly the staff were friendly but were there to sell ilus the tastings which were expensive. They were not happy when we skipped too many stops. There were 7 stops on red route but we could only do 6. Fine. An hour per stop is...More

Hi Nora, you can only do one route a day and they are not interchangeable. One route will take you the whole day if you choose to visit up to 6 wine estates. The views are absolutely beautiful on all of the routes.
