Franschhoek is a joy to visit - and what better way to spend the day than by being taken around the best vineyards via the tram / bus. WE had a young toddler with us (2 years) and we decided to stay at 3 vineyards - Grand Provence, Mont Rochelle and La Bourgogne. All 3 were kid friendly, especially Grand... More

Had a fabulous two days on the wine tram - yesterday on the green route visiting wineries we'd been to on a previous trip to Franschhoek and today on the purple route where we got to visit 6 wineries for the first time. The purple route is a great addition to the programme and much quieter than any of the... More

The wine tram is an excellent way to get around the vineyards. Although the destinations visited by tram reduce the time available at each venue by roughly 15mins (as there is also a tractor ride from the tram stop) the vineyards we visited were all ready for the guests arrivals and we didn't feel too rushed. More time is available... More

Well worth the money to see some vineyards, but please remember you have to pay for most wine tasting extra.

We did the Green tour, but all 4 looked good and visited similar itineraries. Well organised and interesting.

This was a really fun and convenient way to sample a range of Franshoek wineries. My partner and I did the green line, which was great, and visited 5 wineries out of a maximum of 6 stops (we spent 2 hours at Le Lude for lunch - highly recommended). The tour is really well organised so that you can get... More

A great experience on the full day option with lunch at Rickety Bridge. The tour included informative information on the vineyard and cellars. Wine tasting was very good and included tasting at Grande Provence and La Bri. La Bri had wine pairing with chocolate or Turkish delight as well as biltong. Well organised and worth it.

I am probably writing this review more for my satisfaction than as any help to anybody. We had a fantastic day because the scenery was stunning and we met some really nice people and got reasonably tiddly and friendly with them. For us the bus rides, trains and tractor rides were great fun. We love wine but don't really understand... More
