Driving from Franschhoek to Montagu we travelled over the pass - fabulous scenery & several minutes spent watching a troop of baboons climbing a sandy slope by the road - what a treat!

Stop at the pull ins and get great views of Franschhoek valley. Get a day pass and walk in the Mont Rochelle nature reserve. Watch out for motor bikes on Sunday mornings!

Lovely trip over the pass to the big city of Villiers dorp and then down to somerset west. Beautiful scenic drive.Do this if you can. Very scenic.
