My boyfriend and I spent several days in Franschhoek visiting wineries. We found Mullineux and Leeu to be our favorite....Marcheline took us on a journey through how the owners met, how they founded the winery and the awards won for their amazing wine making ability. The education on each of the wines...characteristics, soil, etc was very informative. We loved the more intimate approach to both learning about the wines and the wine tasting and thought Marcheline was absolutely fantastic.

My husband and I enjoyed a wine tasting at before enjoying lunch at La Petit Colombe and had a marvellous experience. The server had marvellous wine knowledge about the wines available as well as wines in general. The wines we tasted were spectacular, Andrea has exceptional talent with regards to wine making. The Straw wine was my favourite as it stood out compared to other dessert wines I have tasted. This will become a regular stop that we make whenever venturing out to Franschoek. The estate is absolutely gorgeous and very well kept.

Very average Wine tasting in this beautiful estate and setting. These wines in general are very expensive and all the wines we had to taste in one glass. All other up market wine estates let you taste wines in different glasses. Here they used one glass for both red and white wines. The bathrooms in this beautiful tasting room was not well kept or maintained either. Quite disappointing as this Leeu estate is beautiful and all the lawns and bushes are very well maintained. Setting is great.

Very personalized. We had scheduled a private tasting of premium wines from home. Beautiful, modern, tastefully decorated cellar with delicious premium wines. 4 generous tastings in beautiful crystal glasses. I believe the cost was approximately $16 US a person. So worth it. We are still talking about it.

Superb tasting the estate and tasting rooms are beautiful.
Excellent tasting experience, expertly guided by Vernon, we went through the history of the company, the different wines and styles. All questions masterfully answered. Even after the tasting had finished we were not rushed away and were left to enjoy the Estate.

This was my favourite restaurant during our trip to SA (not an easy choice as there are so many great ones we visited). The wine tasting was the best we have experienced - relaxed, very informative and interactive boosted by sitting outdoors in their lovely garden. The gardens were the best we have seen: beautifully designed spotted with metallic artwork.
The service was just perfect. The food was sublime: every single course and our waiter (wish I could remember his name was excellent). Thank you so much for the positive and memorable experience.

The wine tasting is nice though there are lots of good tasting experiences in Franschhoek, Stellenbosch and Paarl. The best are the gardens and the hotel & Spa with the gardens and art. Beautifully payed out and an elevating experience. High end.

Make a point to spend some extra time walking around the estate and visiting the museum they have on site. Great place for a tasting!

A new established estate with stunning view and gardens in Franschhoek that is just one part of the huge Analjit Leeu empire. Take the garden-tour—there are a few options, we had the 'garden and scones tour'. You get a one-hour guided walk through this huge and really unique landscaped garden, with a lot of bronze sculptures. After that we could relax in the restaurant facing the greens and had fresh baked scones, jams and coffee. There is also a nice tasting room where we enjoyed a tasting of handcrafted wines. It was a really singular and meditative adventure. It's absolutely worth it.

Lovely setting and and great place for tasting wines.
We were presented with five wines each, plus an explanation of the contents, which was all very interesting.
Certainly not over priced and well worth an hour or so to visit.
