The falls are good although it was low season. The landscape in the park and the gorges are breathtaking. It was worth the visit.

We came here for a visit to the falls, not knowing what else to expect. But there is a lot more to see and do. Unfortunately, due to the high temps we didn't feel like doing one of the hikes. The info on the park...More

These dramatic falls are a must see! When in the vicinity, take the turn off and go visit. Ensure that you are familiar with the opening and closing times. You need about one to two hours. A curio shop sells lovely gifts. We were on...More

After visiting the main falls, which were rather low on water, but still impressive, we took the gravel road to tour the park. We had an SUV 4x4, but ran into several potholes where we had no idea how deep the water was. After crossing...More

We had the opportunity to visit the Augrabies Falls as a day visitor. The falls were amazing to see, to walk along the walk ways an see the different views were spectacular. The Sanparks staff were very friendly and this is well worth a visit.

We really enjoyed our visit to the Augrabies national park. The falls were beautiful, not a lot of water, but I'm glad that we experienced it. The map was very helpful and we managed to visit all the view points.

The road to the falls itself you will be fine as it is tarred. Even within the park you should be fine to drive the gravel roads, but do not attempt the 4x4 marked roads.
