Very nice and unexpected heritage site
It’s the old school that they have preserved as the museum
Looks more like a church or smaller chapel

The staff explained the history of the iron mine. Very interesting

Beautiful and calm place and a must visit

Love the icafe next to it

Very interesting museum. Some of the things brought back memories of many years ago. The museum is well stocked with interesting objects. Worth a visit if you ever get to Barberton. I would have liked to take a few photos, though.

Wynand and his team have done a remarkable job of collecting, restoring and showcasing memorabilia from the time when Barberton started to the modern day town. A person needs to pay a few visits to discover all the interesting items

This is a very interesting museum with a variety of items dating from years gone by. Not necessarily a place I would take young children to.

No photos allowed, which sucks, and not sure why.
Some interesting artefacts and antiques of the mining period and it's locals from way back when.

A museum well worth a visit. Exceptionally well laid out and clean. Some very interesting artefacts from the past.
