We went there out of season and during the week and did not expect much, but were we surprised. The lady that guided us through the museum was well informed and all the shells and other exhibitions were well done. try not to miss this

Without doubt the largest and most comprehensive collection of sea shells, from all over the world, that I have ever had the pleasure to visit and spend time looking at. I was fascinated by the huge ranges of shapes, sizes, textures and colours. The very friendly guide/attendant’s knowledge was just awe inspiring. I would have liked to have spent much more time listening to the attendant and admiring the shells. A must visit.

Very educational. We went searching for shells the next morning with better understanding. Didnt know catshark eggs look like little bats! Ever heard of a shell called Donkey's ears? Baby Toes? Angels Wings? Go visit and find out!!
