Addo was the first place I saw elephants in their natural habitat and it is still my favorite place for doing this. I have also been to Kruger and I saw more animals at Addo. I am an elephant lover and Addo is THE place...More

This is absolutely a beautiful corner of the world. We could see a lot of wild life, like elephants, giraffes, chitas, lions, zebras, a lot of different types of kudus. And we spend there only 2 days. Really fascinating, we really want to go back...More

We all need to travel slowly through the beloved Kruger National Park sometime. I have had the pleasure of several trips over the last 15 years to the KNP. Each time I have been, has been an experience that has left me feeling privileged and...More

There are not many words that can describe the Addo experience. All I can say is that its something everyone has to do at least once in their life. Being avid Motor rally supporters, we travelled up to PE to spectate the VW PE rally....More

Got up so close to Elephants here it was daunting. Fantastic park to spend the day in but bring a picnic.

We stayed in a Forest Cabin for two nights and loved every minute! Check in was a bit slow but our cabin was a total delight with a little posse of birds showing up to greet us. We had an incredible view of the hills...More

In one short trip we must have seen nearly 100 elephants. The park is pretty open (not much bush) so it is easy to spot elephant. We also say 3 of the 10 lion in the park!

Hi, We are travelling in Addo over July and we will be there for 2 days. We were wondering if it would be better to book a 2-days tour ( with private company, around 600$) or to book half-days or full days game with rangers and drive around in our car for the rest of the time ? Any advise ? Thanks,

Drive around in your car and book two half day tours. One day time and one night time. Will show you different animals and also provide you with a lot of additional information about the various species in the game park.
How do I arrange a game drive for my grown daughter and myself (in July)? Are there any hiking safaris? What accommodations are in the park that are small and on the rustic side? Thanks for the help!
