Toni and Anthony run such a conscientious and loving wildlife centre. It is amazing to see the animals in such good condition even if they have been through a terrible trauma. You can tell that the animals welfare is a huge priority. The tour is educational and you even get the opportunity to hold some of the animals such as an African Fat Tailed Gecko, a Blue Tongue Skink and various snakes. There are also meerkats, birds of prey, African wildcat, caracal, tortoises and crocodiles. It is really worth a visit!

This place breathes the love the owners put in to the place. Lots of different animals, and they all have a story. From snakes to eagles, to owls, to crocodiles, to meerkats.
Some of the animals you can hold and touch, like a gekko, meerkat, snakes.
Go and see for yourself how sweet these animals are, but keep in mind, there not meant to be pets!
Note, the place is not well signed from the road, but it is situated next to Lenmore Farmstall, near Addo (which has great food)

Popped into the Wildlife Sanctuary in Addo. Am very disappointed to discover the owner is converting this sanctuary into a zoo. No longer will animals be rehabilitated at this facility. Was very disconcerting to see three beautiful macaws being kept in a small parrot-size cage.

Had a wonderful experience at this rehabilitation centre. Loved the caracal and african wild cats. The owls are amazing!! Learned the centre has new owners. Wish them well with this endeavour. Toni is passionate about the animals, they will be in her good care. Will definately visit again the the near future. A must see rehabilitation centre!!

Definitely worth visiting. A couple runs this place and they're so passionate about what they do that their stories and experiences just suck you in! Even for people not that into reptiles this is a great place since they have a lot of other animals too.
The owners are super great and the guided tour is simply just super interesting! They tell you about all kinds of animals they have and let u hold different snakes and a few other animals. It isn't a must and people afraid of snakes can take the tour as well, just don't worry!
