First check to see when it's open. When it's open, there are very old buildings to explore to learn what settlers did when they were in the area long ago. Occasionally, folks show old-time tasks such as making chairs, and other long ago pastimes.

Very cool idea to reconstruct historical buildings in one place. We have some ancestors from the area and the staff was very nice and tolerant of our questions. The staff was very knowledgeable.

This is a great place to bring your kids to get a sense of history. A colonial tavern, black smithy, typical colonial dwellings, church and gardens offer a nice afternoon visit. It is located within Johnson Park, just right across the river from New Brunswick...More

A peaceful location where you get some interesting history in a small NJ town. If you geocache there are a few around as well.
