Great place to visit
May 2021
This Zoo is great!! We enjoy going there once or twice a year. This time there we did the Giraffe Encounter and it was awesome!! Well worth the fee they charge for it. I would recommend anyone visited the Cape May area to visit the Zoo!!

A fun stop for everyone!
May 2021
We revisited the zoo after several years and were pleasantly surprised to see it was open and many of the animals were on display. We were disappointed to see some animals were missing, but overall, it was fun seeing the monkeys, zebras, lions, birds, etc. It's not a huge area, so it's a manageable day trip. Had a great time!

Exceeded Expectations
May 2021
We heard about the Cape May Zoo from friends who said it was a fun place to visit. We didn't have high expectations, since admission was free (donation based), however we were pleasantly surprised. The zoo was much larger than we expected and we ended up staying for several hours. They have a variety of animals-lions, tigers, bears, camels, monkeys-all in large enclosures giving them plenty of room to roam. We visited the zoo early in the morning and the animals were very active. The zoo was also easy to navigate since the walkways and boardwalks are all one way, which means you don't miss anything. There was plenty of parking available near the entrance and we saw a large playground nearby in the park, as well as picnic tables. If you love looking at animals or have kids, this is a great place to go.

Always A Great Place To Visit
Apr 2021 • Couples
My wife always stop here when going to Cape May. We find it relaxing to just walk around and see the animals. We went early and most of the animals were up and about. A few of the exhibits were being renovated. There were one way signs posted so that everyone was going in the same direction

Fun visit
Apr 2021
Finally visited this zoo and was very impressed . It is very organized and they have a good selection of animals to see for a relatively small zoo . Parking is easy and it is donation based . A must see , especially if children are involved

Spring break day trip
Mar 2021 • Family
After a long year of not being able to do much this year during spring break We decided to take the kids out on a couple day trips during spring break. Our boys 10 & 14 absolutely love animals and I wanted to “unplug” them for a bit! I must say I was impressed. I really liked how they had the paths roped off and guided you. It was so much easier to navigate and not miss anything when you are not familiar with the layout. Everyone was respectful of space and wore their masks. Made our family feel more comfortable! Shout out to the zoo team members! Can see how the hard work paid off and helped make the visit enjoyable!

More Than I Expected
Dec 2020
I was pleasantly surprised by this zoo. I thought it would be a small little zoo with a few animals. The zoo is far from small and offers a variety of animals. The Grounds are beautifully maintained and the animals appear to be well cared for. The admission fee is a voluntary donation and it is worth a generous donation for the few hours you will spend there.

Great family attraction.
Nov 2020
Beautiful outing on a sunny weekend day in November - the zoo was very busy. All appropriately COVID-adjusted they require the masks to be worn throughout the entire visit to the Cape May Zoo. The visiting process is 90% one way pattern and there are no indoor activities open. The entire visit felt safe and was very enjoyable. The Zoo itself is educational and interesting. Easy to take in and not overwhelming.
Simple, ample and free parking. Donation at the entrance to the Zoo itself but no formal fee. You get a map you can recycle at the end. Picnic areas. Park nearby. Great busy playground right outside the Zoo was busier than the Zoo itself.
