The ghost tour is amazing!
Apr 2021 • Friends
We did the ghost walk at night and it was actually our second time doing it. This is such an amazing ghost tour especially for those who have spiritual gifts. Lots of activity goes on here at night and is one of the best cape may ghost tours around.

New Jersey Living History!
Nov 2020
Took the guided tour. Fascinating restoration of village life in the early 1800's. Our guide provided great detail on all of the buildings (most original) as well as the many original tools, books and items that truly brought the time period to life. Hats off to all of those who contributed to this wonderful endeavor!

My friend and I took the walking tour/boxed lunch at the Brewery tour. It was interesting to learn local facts about Cape May County history. Our guide was knowledgeable, answered questions and spoke of upcoming tours. So interesting that I went on and booked the night walking Ghost Tour with Claire!

The attraction has a restaurant and brewery on site. There is a fire pit, tables and the facility follows COVID guidelines. I recommended both tours to my daughter nd am planning on the Wassail tour in December!

Need a Non Beach Day?
Oct 2019
We were staying in Cape May on a multi-generation trip. We needed a non- beach day as it was autumn and happened to be very windy. We are so glad we found this little gem. It's so close, easy to walk around and was interesting for the kids and the Grandparents. We took out time and walked around. It's is small so it didn't take up too much time. It was a nice quaint stop that seemed to just "make sense" with our Cape May experience.

Themed Weekends to Make History Come Alive

How fun to see the printing press, the blacksmith, and how things operated long before vehicles, computers and email! Music, interactions with the volunteers, and fun gift shop (think country store).

Great living history museum
Sep 2020 • Family
Historic Cold Spring Village was great. We went during the pandemic and all the people working there were wearing masks, and they had the flow of foot traffic directed to help with distancing. Not everything was open, but we were able to see more than we expected! Employees are very friendly and knowledgeable. It was similar to Old Sturbridge Village, just a little smaller. I would definitely go back if we’re in the area.

Wonderful find in Cape May! Highly recommend!
Sep 2020 • Solo
I can’t believe I’ve been coming to the south Jersey Shore for almost 30 years and had never been here! I had a wonderful visit. *quick tip- maybe it was my GPS, but the seashore road address they have listed isn’t quite right. Depending on where you’re coming from, you may have to drive a little farther or you will see it come up a bit shorter on the road.

The staff were so friendly and extremely knowledgeable, and I learned a lot of interesting facts about Cape May. There were lots of young families and a few folks brought their dogs. Don’t miss the bakery!! I bought an absolutely fantastic pumpkin bread and some incredible cookies. There are some picnic tables right outside the bakery, so I recommend grabbing some goodies and sitting down for a snack. They also sell water and drinks at the bakery, and there’s a sit-down restaurant and brewery on site. A few little “shops” like the pottery studio were closed due to covid but I still highly recommend a visit here, and especially to support a wonderful historical organization during a challenging time. I’ve been telling all of my family and friends about this place!

RP1205 you make us blush! Thank you so much for your 5-bubble Trip Advisor review! We have two addresses for the Village as we usually have two entrance gates open. During this time of Covid we only have the Seashore Road entrance open. Don't get us started on the baker! She is indeed awesome and I think we all gained a bit of weight having her here! Thank you for your visit, Historic Cold Spring Village, without you and folks like you we wouldn't be here!

Everyone was so nice and knowledgeable. The self-guided tour was very pleasant for kids and grownups alike, and they did a great job enforcing Covid measures.
