It was a cold, dull and damp day but it was a great trip on a vintage diesel in the warm saloon car. The commentary was very humorous and interesting during the two hour round trip. Can definitely recommend it! Well done!

Thoroughly enjoyed this (and it’s not my thing usually). Staff are so friendly and clearly love what they do which easily shows. The trains are spectacular and great value!

Thanks for taking the time to write this review, Ron. Your wife must have made your reservations early in the year! Seats in the Dome for Fall dates were sold out by early March! So glad you enjoyed your visit. Susan Logan Marketing Manager CSRR

On a few days near Halloween, Conway Railroad runs special trains to the "Pumpkin Patch." 30 minutes through the woods ending at and old station where they have free Pumpkins for the kids. Kids are in costumes so it is really cute. They have a...More

We made advanced reservations and requested that we would like reserve a space for our motor home. They agreed and would contact us if space was not available. They never called. So, we came a day earlier and checked on availability of the space for...More

You certainly did everything right, Mike, Not sure where the break-down in communication between our staff happened, but I apologize that you were subjected to confusion and rudeness. There's no excuse for either. I'm glad that Joe took good care of you on the train,...More

Another great night on the train trying to figure out whodunit? There was a mixup with communication between the train and the caterer for our food order (plus one needed to be gf) but the waitperson made sure that we got everything we needed/wanted and...More

What a great way to see the beautiful landscapes and small villages. We took the one with the comfortable wicker chairs with lots of space to be comfortable. My husband is 6'4" and he had all the space he needed. The cushioned fan chairs were...More

The price depends on your options. We enjoyed it, although it was a little long. We ate on the train and it was good. It might be beautiful in autumn, but you might not be able to tell the forest from the trees.

Yes, you get off before the return trip. There is a station and a large facility, I believe it is a part of the AMC. You can go in and look around and have a beverage or snack. The grounds are lovely.
