This classic "grass strip" attracts general aviation enthusiasts, antique airplane buffs and anyone who enjoys watching planes. With just 2000 feet of turf runway and a pilots' lounge that's a throwback to the good old days, You'll see plenty of interesting planes and the people who fly them! Daring visitors can take a "thrill ride" in an historic 1930 New Standard open-air biplane and fly over the nearby beaches Hampton Airfield has had continuous Piper Cub training since 1946. The airfield café has great food and is fun for all. You can watch the planes come and go on their outdoor porch and even from their indoor dining room.

The Airfield is a great place for breakfast or lunch. Fun atmosphere with decor relating to all things airplane! What's great is the food!! Good selection and ample portions. Great view of the planes landing and taking off.

Service was the friendliest and the food was amazing. I will return every chance I get. Loved the theme and the displays. I got the Oreo waffle and Irish benedict.

Awesome, reasonably priced breakfast and lunch! Great atmosphere for everyone’s taste; families, the guys, the girls, or just alone with your tablet! No pressure! Small private planes including vintage aircraft just outside your window!

Very good food from a variety of eggs Benedict to waffles but you have to try the mini potato cakes! They have a patio with a nice breeze and you can watch air planes taking off and landing. It’s worth the sometimes long waiting line!

Hampton Airfield is a site you can go to for free. They have the cafe and that is where we go to enjoy the breakfast/lunch plus get to see the planes take off or land.
