The current exhibit From Renoir to Maya Lin is exceptional, not only because the art shown is world-class, but also there are thought-provoking written guides throughout the exhibit to inspire deeper appreciation.

Don’t miss “Nevada’s MONET”; the Hans Meyer-Kassel exhibit ends Sept. 2, 2018 This museum and its current exhibits are so good I had to go twice in three days. Really enjoy the building—inside and out—a work of graphic art on its own…outside, on the 4th...More

A great spot - really fantastic exhibits. Close to downtown. Reasonable prices. And always some interesting special event going in. Well worth a visit or two.

They do a good job changing the exhibits and getting some well known artists as well as bring in some new artist and local artists. Not as big as some other museums, but Reno is not a Metropolis either.

Please check on the days they close during the week. I know they do, but can't remember which day it is. And plan on lunch there, they have a great café.
