About
Reckless In Vegas steals audiences away to the bygone days of Las Vegas when the drinks were strong, the entertainers were charismatic and the music was intoxicating. The show combines the imagery, comedic banter, glamorous showgirls and classic music from Sin City’s 1960s “glory days” with a contemporary rock band aesthetic. Members Michael Shapiro (band founder, lead vocals, guitar), Jack E. Roth (drums) and Chris Nichols (bass, vocals) have created a high-energy show incorporating live performances of modern versions of songs by artists such as Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Elvis Presley, Sonny & Cher, Frankie Valli, Neil Diamond, Johnny Cash and Bobby Darin with dynamic production-show elements. “Performing at the historic—yet completely reimagined—SAHARA Las Vegas on the Las Vegas Strip represents a dream come true for me,” says Shapiro. “There exists no better venue for our band, which reinvents and reinvigorates classic Las Vegas entertainment for contemporary audiences.”

Best and unique show in Vegas .. the room had so much history that the artists talked about and the music was incredible and the video and pictures in black and white of old Vegas was just very cool.

Fun tribute show in the Sahara Theatre at the Sahara in Vegas.

The theater has tables rather than simply rows of seats. There is table service at this show or you can get your own drink at the bar.

Show features a live band, two dancers and a couple singers reimagining classic Rat Pack era songs as rock (reminds me more of ska than hard rock if that's what you're imagining when you hear "rock.")

I was seated in the center front row. Unfortunately the volume is way too loud for this venue. The table next to us got up and moved further back and I wish my husband and I had done the same. I saw this show 20 days ago and my right ear still hurts after seeing this show. I'm not being funny, bring ear plugs to protect your hearing. I wish I had.

Old Vegas standards are reborn as rock arraignments in this smashing homage to the legends who made Vegas swing. When Sammy Davis meets Hendrix you’ll be floored. That it plays in the refurbished Sahara Theater- once home to so many Vegas saloon singers— is the olive in the martini. And band leader Mike Shapiro is so gracious on stage and off. The must-see show on the strip!

The performance was outstanding. There was so much energy and originality in the show from the moment it began til the finale. I'm such a fan of Rock and Roll and the Rat Pack - the fusion of the two is genius. The music was outstanding and nonstop. The dancers did a great job providing visual entertainment throughout. You got the impression that everyone onstage enjoys what they are doing which, in turn, makes the audience enjoy themselves more. The venue is great with good visibility from all the seats. Waitress was professional.

This is a fun show! It takes classic songs by people such as Frank Sinatra and Tony Bennett and adds a modern twist. I loved the horn section. Great show.

Any Connic show, full of nostalgic energy and musical twist of excellence, the show entertained 110% all the way through. Michael’s personal relationship with audience was amazing, this is a must see show, my emotion of my memories from the 60s and 70s was heartfelt. I will never forget this and will see again,
